  3. Hello Elizabeth
What a great and informative article, lowering blood sugar levels I did not know oats does this, as a type 2 diabetic I now know that I have been eating the right breakfast.
I do have one problem, I tend to get severe indigestion half hour after consuming oats on occasion, not always but most times, I do have a cup of coffee after oats, could this be causing it or do you have any other suggestions on what causes this. I prepare my oats in a microwave oven with salt and a little milk.

Once again great article I found it very useful.

    • Hi Gary, thank you very much in visiting my website, and I greatly appreciate you kind comments. Oh yes, oats has many valuable benefits to our heart health and body well being.
I have used this product from childhood, to present, however, I did more intensive review on just about all it benefits.

In your case of indigestion, it can cause from the high fiber, the type of oats such as the Quaker oats is much harder, it is unrefined. (The primary type of soluble fiber in oats is beta-glucan, which has been researched to help slow digestion, increase satiety, and suppress appetite. Beta-glucan) So that is why I am promoting Nutrim B-glucan, it is smooths and dissolved well in any drinks, hot or cold, even soup. I would suggest not to cook in the micro, on top of stove should cook for 10 to 15 minutes with constant stirring to avoid lumps, instead giving a smooth texture. I hope this helps, feel free to contact me with any other question. Much blessing. Elizabeth
